Packaging and recycling giant Visy invited Verico Training Services to travel to Victoria last week to deliver Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) training to their electrical staff.

Visy is committed to the safety of their staff, contractors and visitors and whilst hazardous areas at their Coburg North facility are not significant, they are significant within the process. The training was implemented to provide licensed electricians with accreditation to undertake electrical work in a hazardous area in accordance with requirements outlined in AS/NZS 4761 Competencies for working with electrical equipment for hazardous areas (EEHA).

Verico Training is able to ship all it’s training resources ahead of time to the client’s site and deliver the course at their facility. This saves the company time that would have been otherwise lost commuting to another location and allows us to tailor the content to the organisations operations.
